Why did I move to the Philippines?
I am french, and i owned a tobacco, magazines, candies and souvenirs shop in a small town. I've been doing that for 7 years opening at 6am and closing at 8pm, 365 days a year.
After 4 years, I met my wife on the Internet, and we spent the last 2 years working hard together.
When we sold the store last december 2008, we have decided to move to the Philippines for a main reason : we could not afford living in France anymore.
When we arrived in Cebu in january 2009, she immediately started her own business in the buy and sell field and we also invested in some real estate condominiums, house and lot, and mini buses for public transportation, under the name of SOHM'S ENTERPRISES.
Our incomes are enough to give us a good living and we have to admit, that we both have forgotten, what getting up early in the morning, means.
With that security, we are now planning to open a small restaurant, next to our place.
